The Sutton on Trent Village Fund (Registered Charity no.1054790)
The initial impetus to form the Village Fund in 1995 arose from a desire in the village to create an organisation which would continue to run the Festival. The Fund was formed with this in mind but it also determined a formal charitable purpose, which is to raise money and distribute it for the promotion of charitable purposes within the parish of Sutton on Trent.
The Fund raises money principally by staging the Festival but also by hiring out its marquees and from donations from villagers and village businesses. Since 1995, those who have been helped include :
