Welcome to the 23nd Sutton on Trent Village Festival.
It provides two days of fun, frivolity and entertainment. The extensive main ring programme provides something for everyone. There are flypasts, vintage cars & tractors, bouncy castles, stalls, fine food, bbq, beer and much much more.
The festival is built around the traditional Steam Threshing method of producing wheat and bailing straw. In August willing volunteers help to harvest the locally grown wheat using a 1950’s Lanz Binder. Under the guidance of Robin Drury over the two days 2 ton of wheat is processed through a 1949 Foster Threshing drum. more
